Does Anybody Know What Time It Is? Does Anybody Really Care?

I read last week that Don Imus is returning to the radio, four months after he was fired from CBS, care of WABC in New York. This news was met with little fanfare and I have seen minimal reports of people being upset, protesting or outraged at WABC. Regardless of how you feel about Imus’ comments, it was nice to see people act out and voice an opinion against them, demonstrating how deeply they believed in something. Now? Not so much. I know that America has a short memory, but have we become that pacified and distracted by everything else going on around us that we just don’t care?
